For sale is this beautiful headturning land rover series 2A 88" from 1963
History:
It was found a few years ago on a farm close to Rome in poor condition.
Original papers from british heritage stated it was originally delivered to a customer in the UK in marine blue, somewhere later in it's life it got sold to an italian owner and changed to green. Car and engine are number matching.
A full nut and bolt restauration was commissioned and followed up by myself in Italy in beginning 2021. Only three colors where used to add to it's overall easthetics. The bodywork was done in the beautifull land rover green, steel details and chassis where all galvanisted to withstand time and even coastal conditions, the color black was used for engine block, seats, hood, wheels,.....the original winch was kept for decoration but is no longer functional. The finished Landy was then test driven and transported to my home in Belgium.
The result is this beautiful "cool & vintage" style Landy, a true piece of art.
